Creating the new era of African Investing

Our Story

While raising capital for African investment funds, co-founders David Harlley and Kwabena Owusu-Adjei experienced firsthand the challenges of the landscape.

Risk:

As frontier markets, African economies present distinct risks that can deter investment—despite the significant opportunities they offer.

Risk Perception:

Real risks remain—but they are too often amplified by perception, creating a gap between reality and investor sentiment.

Illiquidity:

Africa’s investment landscape is largely private, with capital concentrated in private equity and private debt. The scarcity of liquid alternatives beyond sovereign instruments limits investor participation and scale.

Market Fit:

Conventional private equity and debt vehicles prioritize Western investor needs over portfolio realities—resulting in sub-optimal structures and diminished performance.

Our Solution

Real-world-asset-backed fractional units let investors diversify with smaller amounts, manage risk, and drive capital into Africa.

Lower minimums open opportunities for Africans and the diaspora to invest in their own continent, leveraging local insight and more accurate perceptions of risk.

Blockchain-based secondary markets provide liquidity for those seeking flexibility beyond traditional 10+ year fund horizons.

This approach aligns investment timelines with portfolio realities, supporting stronger, long-term value creation.
